The main objective of the project is to follow on with the development of a tool for planning. This tool simulates the behavior of Spanish Electricity Market in a scope than includes both medium and long-term horizon. The level of aggregation depends on the specific use of the model. The project includes the tool maintenance and the improvement of its capacities. This improvements deal with modeling and also with data management. HEPLASE is based on other tool, VALORE, whose capabilities have been increased. HEPLASE is intended to be adapted to this new capacities.
